زمینه و هدف: با وجود مشکلات متعدد جسمی، روانی و اجتماعی در بیماران همودیالیزی، این بیماران برخی تغییرات مثبت روانشناختی را نیز تجربه میکنند که از آن تحت عنوان «رشد پس از سانحه» نام برده میشود. رشد پس از سانحه مفهوم پیچیده ای است که با عوامل زیادی از قبیل ویژگی های هوش هیجانی فرد در ارتباط است. هدف این مطالعه تعیین ارتباط هوش هیجانی با رشد پس از سانحه در بیماران تحت درمان با همودیالیز در استان اردبیل بود.
روش کار: مطالعه حاضر یک مطالعه توصیفی همبستگی بود که روی کلیه بیماران همودیالیزی واجد شرایط مراجعه کننده به بیمارستان های استان اردبیل در سال 96 انجام شد. ابزارهای مورد استفاده شامل فرم اطلاعات دموگرافیک، فرم کوتاه ویژگی هوش هیجانی و پرسشنامه رشد پس از سانحه بودند. داده ها پس از جمع آوری با استفاده از آمارهای توصیفی و استنباطی در نرم افزار SPSS-15 تجزیه و تحلیل شدند.
یافته ها: اکثر بیماران شرکت کننده در پژوهش مرد (55%)، متاهل (88/8%) و بیسواد (45%) بودند. میانگین رشد پس از سانحه و هوش هیجانی به ترتیب 12/78± 69/94 و 19/47±140/88بود. بین هوش هیجانی و رشد پس از سانحه، ارتباط معناداری دیده شد (0/001<p، 0/617=r).
نتیجه گیری: نتایج مطالعه نشان داد که هوش هیجانی با رشد پس از سانحه ارتباط مستقیمی دارد. لذا با آموزش و ارتقاء هوش هیجانی در بیماران تحت درمان با همودیالیز می توان زمینه رشد پس از سانحه را در آنها ارتقا بخشید.
