زمینه و هدف: به دلیل مواجهه بیماران مبتلا به سرطان با مشکلات جسمانی- روانشناختی (نظیر درد، تصویر بدنی منفی و مشکلات جنسی) و لزوم انجام مداخلات روانشناختی برای کاهش این مشکلات، پژوهش حاضر با هدف تعیین اثربخشی روایتدرمانی بر پذیرش درد، تصویر بدنی و تمایل جنسی در زنان مبتلا به سرطان ژنیکولوژی انجام شد.
روش کار: این مطالعه از نوع نیمه تجربی با طرح پیشآزمون- پسآزمون و با گروه کنترل بود. جامعه آماری شامل زنان متاهل مبتلا به سرطانهای ژنیکولوژیک مراجعه کننده به مطبهای متخصصان مرتبط شهر اردبیل در نیمه دوم سال 1403 بود که از بین آنان تعداد 40 نفر به روش نمونهگیری در دسترس انتخاب و با روش تصادفی ساده در دو گروه آزمایش و کنترل گنجانده شدند (هر کدام 20 نفر). گروه آزمایش، تحت هشت جلسه 75 دقیقهای مداخله روایتدرمانی وایت و اپستون (1991) به صورت هفتهای یک جلسه قرار گرفتند. ابزار گردآوری اطلاعات در مراحل پیش آزمون و پس آزمون شامل پرسشنامه های پذیرش درد مزمن، تمایل جنسی هالبرت و نگرانی درباره تصویر بدنی لیتلتون بود. تجزیه و تحلیل دادهها با آزمون تحلیل کوواریانس چندمتغیره با بهرهگیری از نرم‌افزار آماری SPSS-22 صورت گرفت.
یافته ها: بر اساس نتایج، متغیرهای پذیرش درد (53/21F=، 0/01< p )، تصویر بدنی (181/46F=، 0/01<p) و تمایل جنسی (95/32F=،0/01 <p) در دو گروه آزمایش و کنترل، از نظر آماری متفاوت بودند. به این معنا که روایتدرمانی، تاثیر معناداری بر افزایش پذیرش درد، تصویر بدنی و تمایل جنسی در زنان مبتلا به سرطان ژنیکولوژی داشت.
نتیجه گیری: با توجه به نتایج به دست آمده میتوان بیان کرد که گفتگوهای درمانی از طریق کمک به تغییر افکار منفی ناشی از بیماری سرطان در مراجعین، زمینه مطلوبی را برای بهبود پذیرش درد، تصویر بدنی و تمایل جنسی در زنان مبتلا به سرطان ژنیکولوژی ایجاد می کند. لذا می توان از این روش درمانی در زمینه افزایش پذیرش درد، تصویر بدنی و تمایل جنسی در زنان مبتلا به سرطان ژنیکولوژی استفاده کرد.
