زمینه و هدف: مدل ترکیبی سرشت عاطفی و هیجانی، ترکیبی از ساختارهای سرشت عاطفی و هیجانی را با کاربردهای بالینی، روانی- زیستی و درمانی برای اختلالات روانی مطرح می­کند. هدف از این پژوهش تعیین نقش مدل ترکیبی سرشت عاطفی و هیجانی در پیش بینی علائم اختلال اضطراب اجتماعی دانشجویان بود.
روش کار: این پژوهش توصیفی و از نوع همبستگی بود. جامعه آماری شامل کلیه دانشجویان مشغول به تحصیل در سال تحصیلی 93-1392 در دانشگاه شهید مدنی آذربایجان بودند که 400 نفر از آنان با استفاده از روش نمونه ­گیری خوشه­ ای طبقه ­ای انتخاب و به وسیله مقیاس ترکیبی سرشت عاطفی و هیجانی و پرسشنامه جدول زمینه یابی ترس مورد آزمون قرار گرفتند. تحلیل داده­ ها با استفاده از ضریب همبستگی پیرسون و رگرسیون چند­گانه در نرم افزارهای-16 SPSS و LISREL-8.5 انجام شد.
یافته ­ها: نتایج نشان داد که ابعاد هیجانی مقابله، اراده، حساسیت و ترس (0/01p<)، بعد خشم (0/05p<) و ابعاد عاطفی افسردگی، اضطراب، بی­تفاوتی، ادواری­خویی، ملالت، تغییرپذیری و هیجان­زدگی (0/01p<)، بعد سرحالی (0/03 =p) و بعد بازداری­زدایی (0/01 =p) مدل ترکیبی سرشت عاطفی و هیجانی، همبستگی معناداری با علائم اختلال اضطراب اجتماعی داشتند. نتایج آزمون رگرسیون چندگانه نیز حاکی از آن بود که ابعاد سرشت­های هیجانی اراده و ترس (0/01 =p) و بعد حساسیت (0/001 =p) و ابعاد سرشت عاطفی اضطراب و هیجان­ زدگی (0/001 =p) توانستند علائم اختلال اضطراب اجتماعی را به صورت معناداری پیش بینی کنند.
نتیجه گیری: با توجه به این که برخی از ابعاد مدل ترکیبی سرشت عاطفی و هیجانی، توان پیش بینی علائم اختلال اضطراب اجتماعی را دارند می توان از این مدل در مداخلات بالینی بهره گرفت.
